Bridges of Hope
Mainstreaming Indigenous Peoples' Participation in Environmental Governance (MIPPEG). MIPPEG is implemented by FPE and the Philippine Association for Intercultural Development (PAFID) in coordination with the National Commission for Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) to uplift the conditions of IPs living in biodiversity rich areas. The project also aims to uphold IP self-determination and sustain their ecologically friendly traditions while giving IPs a voice in the larger community’s sustainable development and in local governance.
FPE and DENR-BMB Present: Newly-Discovered Wildlife (December 2012)
The Foundation for the Philippine Environment or FPE and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources-Biodiversity Management Bureau or DENR-BMB, formerly known as the Protected Areas and Wildlife Bureau, launched an event recognizing the richness of Philippine biodiversity through newly-discovered wildlife.
